Julie LaTendesse President
Julie grew up in rural Tennessee and started working with goats in small commercial dairies and homestead environments as she moved west to Utah and California. Moving to Hawaii in 2013 and Puna District in 2015, Julie now owns & operates “Goat With The Flow- Hawaii Island Pack Goats” where she raises “working” goats to help with invasive species removal and kipuka restoration through The Kipuka Kao Project; using a volun-tourism/eco-tourism model to diversify and maximize the value of her small homestead herd.
A goat's milk lover and home cheese maker, Julie is passionate about local food production, Hawaii agriculture and island food sovereignty. She is dedicated to promoting these values and sharing them with others through her service to Hawaii Sheep & Goat Association (HSGA).
